Takashi Ito is a very interesting experimental film maker from Japan, whose work falls somewhere near a cauldron brew of structuralist/materialist avant-gardé. A nearly comprehensive 2-Disc DVD Set of Ito-san’s work just got released a couple of months ago.
It makes me want to make experimental films again.
